A thank you from Soroptimist International of the America’s
Members of SI/Calistoga, CA, thank you! We know how hard you work to generate funds for programs that benefit women and girls. We are so grateful and honored you have elected to contribute a portion of those locally raised funds to Soroptimist’s global programming. Your gift of $4000.00, made on March 16, 2018 is going to travel the world to change the life of a woman or girl who might speak a different language, but still is in equal need of help.
I am sure that all the members of SI/Calistoga, CA want to know the change they make in a woman or girl’s life. Every club donation, or action you took to fundraise was well worth it. Additionally, with your generous gift, we are pleased to acknowledge you as a Dream Builders contributor, with a total donation of $4000.00 for the 2017-2018 Club Giving recognition period.
On behalf of the many women and girls who will benefit this year from your Club Giving contribution, I’d like to again extend my thanks for your generosity.
In Soroptimist friendship,

A global volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.
Who We Are
Soroptimist is a global women’s organization whose members volunteer to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Approximately 76,000 Soroptimists in over 120 countries and territories support community–based and global projects benefiting women and girls. The organization is particularly concerned with providing women and girls access to education, as this is the most effective path to self-determination.
The name, Soroptimist, means “best for women,” and that’s what the organization strives to achieve. Soroptimists are women at their best, working to help other women to be their best.
Soroptimist members belong to local clubs. Clubs participate in the Dream Programs of Soroptimist, Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women and Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls to help women and girls achieve social and economic empowerment. The Dream Programs of Soroptimist ensure women and girls have access to the education and training they need to reach their full potential and live their dreams. Soroptimist is committed to investing in programs that have a sustainable, measurable change for women and girls. Clubs also participate in local level projects such as providing mammograms to low-income women, working to end sex trafficking for women and girls and mentoring women in domestic violence shelters.
Soroptimist also sponsors LiveYourDream.org, an online community empowering offline volunteer action. The self-motivated network is made up of people who wish to support women and girls in their quest to lead better lives, while gaining inspiration in their own lives. Members of the free online community work on topics such as women’s economic empowerment, ending violence against women, human trafficking, and more. They also have access to inspirational articles, tips, and blogs that can help them live their own personal dreams.
