The Soroptimist International of Calistoga club has been making a difference in the lives of women and girls in Calistoga since June 16, 1956. Through various programs and initiatives, the club aims to empower women, support education, and promote gender equality. By engaging the local community and collaborating with other organizations, the club provides valuable resources and opportunities that help women and girls achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Their ongoing commitment to service and advocacy continues to create positive change within the region.

successfully engaged over 40 high school
girls in Napa Valley at its inaugural
Dream It, Be It Career Event!

On October 3rd, over 40 high school girls from throughout Napa Valley and beyond recently imagined what is possible for their futures at the Dream It, Be It Career Event held at the Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center. The inaugural event was designed to inspire, connect, and leverage key resources for career planning. The participants heard from inspiring women, explored potential career paths (college versus trade), met peers and mentors, and gained access to essential resources that can help participants plan their future with a Vision Board exercise designed to Dream Big!

Soroptimist International of the Americas launched the Dream It, Be It curriculum in 2015. Since then, more than 192,000 girls around the world have participated.
