SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL OF CALISTOGA
We are proud to announce the success of our 23rd ANNUAL CRAB FEED FUNDRAISER held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, on International Women’s Day at the Calistoga Boys & Girls Club. Historically, the SIC Crab Feed is our largest fundraiser of the year. However, it was put on hold for the past few years due to Covid. It was resurrected on March 2, 2024, and the results were awe-inspiring. Toni Hunt, Fundraising Chair of SIC had this to say, “We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and enthusiasm of our supporters. Their contribution will make a significant impact on funding vital programs and scholarships”. Marion Villalba, SIC President shared this “It brings tears to my eyes knowing how a community can come together to change the lives of others”.
We served 800 lbs. of Dungeness crab to 236 guests who generously contributed to our event to the tune of $104,000+ in gross receipts! Our fund-a-need lot raised $10,350 for our education programs and scholarships. Just remarkable!
Soroptimist of Calistoga extends heartfelt thanks to all sponsors and volunteers who made the event possible. Special recognition goes to our donors who provided over 230 items for auction, and attendees who showed their enthusiastic support.
A special THANK YOU to the Boys & Girls Club of Calistoga, Keegan Barrett, Calistoga Rotary Club, Cal Mart, Kevin Eisenberg, Clark Mishler, Marcela Rodriguez, Upper Valley Disposal & Recycling, CHS ASB and the “S” Club Students.
Last but not least A CONGRATULATIONS to our AMAZING Women of Distinction. For their hard work and ingenuity to support our Community of Calistoga.

“Drive Through” Crab Feed and wine raffle
Soroptimist International of Calistoga is a volunteer movement that began 65 years ago. For the past 19 years, we have had the privilege of hosting you and at our annual Crab Fest & Auction. In that time, our efforts and your generous contributions have resulted in more than $850,000 in funding for programs and projects utilized to transform the lives of women and girls in need.
We are heart-broken that we are unable to host an in-person event due to the current global pandemic in this, our 20th anniversary year. However, with the overwhelming economic and educational needs of the women and girls who are supported by our programs, the members of SI Calistoga are determined to find a way to continue to provide the necessary funding in this historically challenging time. Therefore, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of our fundraiser and of the women and girls who have been and will be assisted by our programs, we have taken the Crab Fest on the road…
On Saturday, March 6th, we invite you to participate in our “drive through” dinner and wine raffle event. Delicious crab dinners prepared with care by Cal Mart may be purchased online here for pick-up on the afternoon of March 6th. The dinners are $75.00 per person, and because of limited service capacity, we are only able to make 200 dinners available. All purchases must be made online by Monday, February 22nd at noon, and will include a generous portion of crab (3 lbs.), cocktail sauce, Caesar salad, manicotti pasta with instructions for re-heating, dinner roll and Strawberry Cream cake for dessert. At the time of purchase, you will choose a pick-up time for your individually packaged meal. Dinner pick-up will take place behind Cal Mart on First Street. For questions, please send us an email or call 707-548-3726.
We know that many of you may be unable to participate in this “drive through” event, and we humbly ask that you continue to champion our cause through sponsorships, wine raffle ticket purchases, and straight donations to our programs. Please show your advocacy for the women and girls of our community by participating in this important fundraising event.
We are thankful for your consideration and look forward to next year when we are able to host you in-person for our annual crab fest. Until then, please stay safe and accept our most sincere appreciation for your support during these difficult times.
